Limited Liability Society “Commercial-industrial company “PROMIX” (PROMIX Ltd) was created on February, 1996 by the former scientists of Electrodynamics Institute of Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences. From the time of foundation the basic direction of firm activity was delivery of measuring instruments, diagnostic equipment and computer engineering means to the enterprises of electric power field. The market conditions in Ukraine had forced PROMIX Ltd to deal with some others directions of activities, such as electric energy supplying for unregulated rate, export & import of machine-building and chemical industry production.
Our partners in that time were: electric power industry enterprises (JSC "Dniprohydroenergo", Vyshgorod; Khmelnitskiy Nuclear Power Plant, Neteshin); machine-building and chemical plants (JSC "Oriana", Kalush; JSC "Krasitel", Rubezhnoe; aluminous plant of Nikolaev; JSC "Barva", Ivano-Frankovsk; JSC "Azovobcshemash", Mariupol); international concerns ("SIEMENS A.G."; "Mitsubishi Corporation", "Digital Equipment Corporation"); leading scientific research institutes (JSC "Impulse", Severodonetsk, State Enterprise "Kharkov's Research Institute of Complex Automation", Kharkov; Electrodynamics Institute of Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences).
From 2000 PROMIX Ltd had directed business activity on the production and market promotion of measuring and diagnostic instruments on the markets of Ukraine and CIS countries, in co-operation with Ukrainian and foreign companies, which deal with development and manufacturing of such equipment for electric power and others fields of industry. One of the first instrument which was represented by our company on Ukrainian market was automatic high-voltage bridge type CA 7100 produced by state research-and-production enterprise "Spetsavtomatica". The instrument combines with scientific achievements of electrical and magnetic measurements department of Electrodynamics Institute of Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences, headed by academician Dr.Grynevich during many years, and practical requirements of specialists of electric power field of industry. Now bridge CA 7100 and number of others instruments under trade mark “CA” are manufactured by OLtest Ltd, dealer of which in Ukraine is PROMIX Ltd.
From the beginning of 2003 PROMIX Ltd started the co-operation with companies from the such high-developed scientific-technical center of Ukraine as Kharkov. First of all this co-operation is connected with designing and gathering of movable electric laboratories, shipment of control devices for electric equipment, instruments for diagnostics of high-voltage cables insulation. Scientific-production Firm “Titan-T” Ltd became the partner of PROMIX Ltd in this activity too. From the 2006 our company is the dealer of “SEBA KMT Group” (Germany), one of the world leader in development and production of diagnostic equipment and van systems for test, fault locating on power supply cables.
In the end of 2003 the scientific-technical department was created in PROMIX Ltd headed by professor, laureate of USSR State Prize Dr.Surdu. The department deals with development of instruments with different grades of accuracy for measurement of impedance parameters, and thermoconductometers and thermometers. The main task of department was creation of modern high accuracy instrument for measurement of impedance parameters. The instrument has to take the place of automatic ac bridge P5083, which was developed more than 20 years ago and manufactured by plant “Tochelectroprybor” (Kiev). As a result was development of precision RLC-meter MHC1100. The instrument was certified and entered in the State list-register of measurement instruments of Ukraine.
Collaboration of PROMIX Ltd with Electrodynamics Institute of Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences and Small Private Enterprise “Aniger” (Kiev) started the export of information-diagnostic complex “Regina”. Complex is intended for registration of analog and digital signals, for analysis of emergency conditions development, for operation’ estimation of relay protection and automation devices, for fault locating on power transmission line under short circuit and for solving of other diagnostic tasks in power engineering.
In 2002-2003 Ukraine industry and correspondingly demand on measuring equipment for instruments-building and metrology were growing. PROMIX Ltd started to find new suppliers and to increase the assortment of instruments, which were not manufactured in Ukraine. Our company had negotiations with firm “Amtest-TM” (Chechia), which was specialized on the shipment and technical support of measuring and technology equipment in the Central an East Europe countries. In the beginning of 2004 a dealer contract with Amtest-TM was concluded about representation in Ukraine of the interests of the number of world leader manufacturers of the control-measuring and diagnostic equipment.
In 2006 after careful analysis of production quality PROMIX Ltd started to import in Ukraine IR cameras of company “Wuhan Guide Infrared Technology Co.” (China). A lot of instruments (from the portable universal low cost IR cameras up to multifunction instruments and systems with very high measurement parameters) was manufactured on the basis of uncooled microbolometer produced by one of the European leader in this field company “ULIS” (France). The manufacturing of IR cameras is certified in accordance with standards ISO 9001:2000, SGS EN 55022 (1998), EN 55024 (1998).
PROMIX Ltd in co-operation with JSC “Khmelnitskoblenergo”, Titan-T Ltd and OLtest Ltd started to ship in the beginning of 2007 the movable calibration laboratories for metrological attestation of currency and voltage transformers with voltage class 35 kV and 110 kV.
